The Founding
Episode7 is a community portfolio which is mainly designed for Finnish designers. E7 was founded in May, 2008 by three oh-so young and –obviously– handsome lads, Niklas Lepistö, Heikki Salo and Vesa Antikainen. They had known each other for quite a while in the design community and wanted to extend their innovations to even further.
The Founders
Niklas Lepistö
Niklas –alias gone– is a 17 year-old-boy who lives in Kouvola. He has been into graphics and designing for almost 4,5 years. Niklas is studying in a business college and is having a double examination.
Even while being the youngest member of the founders, Niklas has got some talent in designing and is greatly appreciated. He has designed various kind of websites, logos and much more graphic designs for various companies and individuals, such as EnviOn and MP-Huolto. He also works as a graphic designer for a gaming team called LowLandLions.
As for the personal view, Niklas is quite humorous guy and therefore is always up for a good laugh. Although, his sarcasm is a kind of that you either get it or you don’t.
Heikki Salo
Heikki –alias BassBoost– is 18 year-old-guy who lives in Nokia and is studying designing in Tampere College, where he’ll graduate in spring 2009. He has been into graphics for almost 5 years now but had couple –long– breaks during that time.
Along with designing, Heikki has a good knowledge of photographing, too. He has been in the field for 3 years and has worked for Aamulehti-newspaper for a period of 1,5 months.
Some people call Heikki one hell of a perfectionist, which is pretty much true. But this doesn’t stop Heikki being the “coolest one” and doing the things he does best.
Vesa Antikainen
Vesa – alias vsa – is 25 years young and resides in Tampere. Currently he's studying Interactive Media at TAMK University of Applied Sciences.
He's been fiddling with computer graphics for a good 4 or so years. He too has taken up on photography but is still fairly new to it.
Other than that he excels in short and rather dry introductions.
Future
In E7 we aim to improve ourselves in the individual level and of course build up our teamwork. We also aim extend our resources and get our name up among people. The latter is our main goal especially in Finland.
